Seeing the city of Utrecht by car is not recommended. But if you are coming in by car to the centre you can park your car in one of the many parking garages. Electronic signs display the number of parking spaces available as well as the directions. If the sign says "Vol" it means the lot is full.
If you want to see surroundings of the city by car you can rent a car.
